Warning this update contains SUN, SEA, SPORT AND SPRING TIME FUN!

G'day folks, Spring has sprung down under - at last the temperatures are rising to a more comfortable level of between 23 and 35 degrees. We have been quite busy this last couple of months and inconsequence the time has just flown by. Friday night footy season has kicked off again for Phil and so 'Curry Night' has moved to Saturday. You may remember his team (Suncorp) had made it all the way to the finals last season. On top of this Phil also ran (along with 36,000 others) the Bridge to Brisbane Race on the 7th September and crossed the line with many of the so called 'Elite Runners'. I am so proud of him, he got up at the crack of dawn and ran 10K in under 50 minutes - despite being smothered with a heavy cold.

Above is an official picture of Phil as he crosses the finishing Line, his certificate and his proud little family. As the weather is now picking up, our thoughts have turned to sprucing up the gardens before it gets too hot. Below is a picture of Phil weeding the front garden flower beds while being supervised by Master Ryan and the wee fairy Olivia! As neither of us are too keen on the weeding lark, we have decided to lay down some stone chippings which should look great. I will post a picture of our progress in my next blog update.

As Conor is on a two week half term break, we have also taken the opportunity to hit the beach. Last weekend weekend we headed up to a fabulous resort on the Sunshine Coast called Noosa. It was the resort featured in the movie 'Muriel's Wedding'. The beach was fabulous and as you can tell from the pictures below that the children had a ball.

In between the children have been attending play dates with school friends and signing up for more swimming lessons. I have been digging out our Halloween costumes as per Chissell Law and our little lady will turn 5 years old on the 10th! Happy birthday day to you for Monday Connie - watch out for your trusted postie! October is set to be as manic as ever for us Chissells. I truly hope all is well with you and yours and that you keep in touch with all your news. I have been enjoying tinkering with my new 'Facebook' profile. So Sue, Connie, Amanda, Sheelagh and Sharon set up yours soon (pretty please) as I am fed up looking like johnny no mates ha ha. I have also updated the look and feel of the blog - did you notice?
I will leave you all with one more photograph of my stylish daughter who drew on the inspiration of the great designers (Peter Pan, Long John Silver and Barbie) to produce this hippy chick ensemble - Agnes D. eat your heart out!

Take care y'all love Mrs C xxx.
