Ryan enjoying his birthday high tea, followed by a groovy disco.

Uncle Tim arrived in early July to much excitement and anticipation of us all. The poor chap didn't get fives minutes to himself between the children and being taken out and about. It rained a few times during his visit, but it did not diminish any of the fun! We are still amazed that he coped so well with the jet lag and lasted all day and evening (on the day he arrived) without any sleep.
Taking time out for a coffee and a natter with our good aussie friend Kim.
Alas the trip ended all too soon and tears flowed in the car after saying goodbye to Tim at the airport. Thank you for coming Tim, we had such a good laugh and chats into wee early hours. We hope you enjoyed your time with us as much as we loved having you stay. Come back again soon and best wishes for a great birthday!
As a special treat to cheer up the children (they were missing their Star Wars playmate Uncle Tim) we took them to 'Dream World' - think Aussie style Disney Park on the Gold coast. Above and below are some pics detailing the fun.
Below are some cute pictures of Conor (7 years going on 17) honing his driving skills and Olivia playing happily on the PC like a real pro.
Also, a typical picture of Conor preparing to watch the next episode of Dr Who - would you guess that he is a big fan? This is one of his favourite dress up outfits ever - all thanks to Aunty Sheelagh and Uncle Alan for such a great birthday present and to Granny and Grandad for the matching pyjama set.
Good news Everybody - Huge hugs, kisses and congratulations to Huw and Sally for the safe arrival of bouncing baby Ethan and to George and Duncan for the safe arrival of a bonny baby Harry. Sorry we cannot be with you all, but your wonderful news has made our week! Also a special happy birthday to my little niece Zaria who celebrated her first birthday and to my little sister Sheelagh and my loving mum who celebrated their ??... birthdays too.

And finally - we will leave you with a couple of pics of our cheeky monkeys at Dream World- it was tempting to sneak both displays out for our back garden instead of a the usual 'naughty step' ha ha what do you think?
