Hello folks, just a little update to keep you abreast of our progress. The flights are booked the hotel arranged and the rental is in the pipeline!

We are flying out on the 13/06/2006 for a well earned break to Singapore. We then fly onwards to Brisbane and our new life down under will begin. May I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the ladies above for one of the best social nights of my life. In between the tears , the laughter, the on stage boogie (sorry Michael) and the happy juice of course, I felt like I was 21 again! Which was quite a feat as I had actually turned 39 yrs only days earlier. Thank you for the fabulous birthday presents by the way! I am sad that one dear friend was unable to attend, but we all thought about you C....
We will be having a few drinks down the local watering hole on 01/06/2006 to say goodbye to all our work colleagues. It will be the end of a special time for my husband an I as we originally met there in 1996 and I particularly loved my job! Au revoir blighty and to everyone who knows us here. But do not forget to watch out for my updates from down under.
G'night you bogan hoons xxxxx

G'day folks from the family Chissell!

Well the restoration of Chez Chissell has been completed and our humble estate has been registered for sale. Amazingly within 24 hrs we had our first viewings booked and our mission to Oz has truly begun.

Coincidentally the cold snowy of blizzards of February have faded from memory as an incredible warm front has arrived. Perhaps a message of support from the gods? In fact my wonderful husband celebrated his 37th birthday in our garden with an impromptu barbie and surrounded by very congenial company. The children as shown above relished having a picnic under their very own gazebo. The party continued well into the early hours thanks to the patio heater. Over the Easter break I got to spend some magical time with my beautiful new nephew and his gorgeous sisters. Heck, I have even slopped on my fake bake tan magic potion to compensate for the extra flesh on show!

Over this period our friends have begun planning farewell get togethers and everything is beginning to feel incredibly real. My husband had is first macho (hide the tears) fest recently with his childhood pals and they gave him the fabulous hat shown above. My close friend and mentor Sue visited recently and I will always treasure the above picture of her snuggling up to my youngest son.

Lets hope this fab weather continues folks,

Take care, Mrs C xxx
